"A Gift of Remembrance"
A Customized Bronzed Sculpture
Jay Williams with James Evans, holding the gift
for President Obama was
designed and made for the Florida youth organization
Tampa Bay Academy of Hope.
They had had commissioned Jay Williams to design and
create this bronzed customized gift for them.
Forty students traveled to Washington DC to
present this gift from them to President Obama.
It is in memory of Obama's grandmother
Madelyn Dunham who raised him in Hawaii.
It depicts her embracing him during
his earlier years in Hawaii.
